Originally started in Louisiana in 2003, the band has been through a few line-up changes and moves. We are currently in Alabama and are in the process of writing new songs and record a new album. We have played shows throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, Las Vegas, Iowa, and now Alabama.
Mixing metal like a musical gumbo, Guttersludge brings the differing genres of metal back into one sound. With a dash of death metal, a sprinkle of black metal, and a healthy dose of down-tuned heaviness, Guttersludge lives the bands philosophy of "Strength Through Diversity"!

Since this posting Guttersludge has gone on hiatus. Kyle Patterson, David Baker and myself has started a new band called Hate Ritual. We should have a 2 or 3 song demo up soon!
