Death metal legends GRAVE recently finished recording a new 5-track EP, entitled Morbid Ascent, that includes two new tracks, a cover version of SATYRICON's "Possessed," a remix version of "Epos"-- as well as a re-recorded version of "Reality Of Life," a classic GRAVE demo track from their Sexual Mutilation demo (1989). Due out digitally on September 17th in North America, Morbid Ascent is now available for pre-order at CM Distro on mustard yellow vinyl (USA exclusive color; limited to 200 copies). See below for the EP's track-listing:

Morbid Ascent track-listing
Side 1:
1. Venial Sin
2. Morbid Ascent
Side 2:
1. Possessed (originally by SATYRICON)
2. Epos (Risen From The Tomb - Remix)
3. Reality Of Life

For a preview of Morbid Ascent, please visit Stereogum.com for the premiere of "Venial Sin" (featuring some shrieking guest solos by AUTOPSY's Eric Cutler):

Morbid Ascent's cover artwork, interior artwork, and layout were done once again by Costin Chioreanu (www.twilight13media.com), who previously worked on GRAVE's past three albums, as well as artwork for numerous other artists (DARKTHRONE, DESTROYER 666, ULVER, etc.). This upcoming EP is the follow-up to 2012's Endless Procession Of Souls, which was named one of the best metal albums of the year by Decibel Magazine, Pitchfork.com, Stereogum.com, among countless others.

GRAVE live:
8.17 -- Dinkelsbühl (DE) -- Summer Breeze Open Air
10.5 -- Oostenede (BE) -- Zombie Fest II
